a visit to the neighbouring islands and „halligen“ is a stones throw away, with ferry and express boats leaving on a daily basis.
watersports
access to the sea is possible at all times, with lower tides offering more gentle conditions for novices, whereas the pros can show their skills once the wind force reaches level 6 and above!
cycling and hiking
hiking on the „watt“ (exposed mud flats during low tide), an approximate 2.5hr hike between amrum and foehr or depending on the tide from foehr to amrum offers an unforgettable experience.
chill out
for a superb chilled out evening, a visit to the beach bar „seehund“ is a must, with stunning sunset views across the dunes to the ocean. a live band also performs on a frequent basis.
